Resolved [RESOLVED] Anyone skilled in making transparent gifs?

    Hi!

I have spent some time working with this gif I have attached. I use it in asp.net for popup div menus (like the search popup here in vbforums).

The only problem I have is that there is a sharp edge around the shadow if the background is anythign but white. I played a bit in paint.net to try and make a better alpha, but not successful. Is there anyone that is skilled in photoshop or any other better tool, that is willing to help me out here? prolly just a 2 minute job.

    Edit: Not animated, transparent!!!

    kind regards
    Henrik

Is that the correct image you have attached to your post? If it is then if you fade the line anymore you might as well use a blank gif (a gif with nothing in it).
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.

Yes it is the corret one. The shadow effect should be very faded to produce a faint shadow effect.

I have done some checking on this and it seems as if IE 7 can't show transparent materials properly. So I think this picture will work for me until they can get their act together...

    kind regards
