Packet Detection
I need a little code or someone to help with a program I am working on. I currently have it detecting your diablo 2 games ip address. I would like to monitor packets for a certain packet:
DiabloWalksTheEarth
5A 12 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
SojsSoldToMerchant
5A 11 04 XX XX XX XX 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
where XX XX XX XX = number of sojs sold (DWORD).
Would like these converted to a variable in which I can parse into a textbox if at all possible, such as, diablowalks=1 on receiving the first packet and the number of sojs sold(DWORD) for the second.
Is this possible with vb.net 2008? If so could someone give me a little code please? If so +1 props in advance, i've been googling this for days

Re: Packet Detection
Google RAW sockets. Or go to planet-source-code.com, and search for packet sniffer in the .NET section. There are several examples.
