    Resolved [RESOLVED] [Excel 2003] Corrupt file -> where can I find the file structure

    Hi

    Does anyone have the 'how an excel file' is made up link they can send me.

    I have a 29mb file that needs scanning and fixing (or at least data extracting) but a search for file structure data excel turns up loads of links to things not required.

    If someone has this already and can pass it on I would be grateful (gonna use it as a challenge for myself in the near future).

    hi, i have had an xl file corupt and i got the data by linking to the file via acess and then reading the data into a table. i also created a new ss and linked to the data that way.
