[RESOLVED] how to change domain registrar after registration?

hi. I purchased an IXwebhosting spaces. and I got domains for free offcourse with the accounts. and now domains will expired and I want to renew them for additional 2 years. but I surprised that the prise for just renew 1 of the domains is 39.90$ while in other sites like domain.com is only 19.9$ thats mean less than the half of that price!
now I have many domains not only one! is there a way to change the registrar to for example domain.com or I must dealing them for ever since I registered domains with them

I'm pretty sure that normally when your domain expires if you dont choose to renew it then thats it you no longer own it and it goes back to being the company you purchased the domain from that is the registrar. So yeah speak to them.

EDIT: just seen your last post.
I'm confused now... now your saying you do want to be the registered owner of these domains? I thought the whole point was that you didnt want them anymore.

Ooook I have re-read your original post and think I know what you want to do now, you want to transfer the domain to another domain provider yeah?
Thats usually pretty simple, I did it not long ago. Do you have like a web portal/admin page that you can use to configure your domain? usually there is an option on there to "Transfer Domain Away" or something like that.

Re: how to change domain registrar after registration?

First, look at your current hosting control panel and see if there's an option to transfer from there.

Second, look at your new registrar of choice and find out if they accept domain transfers.

If both these conditions are met, you can then perform the transfer. For that you will need an EPP key.

In some cases, the control panel will show you the EPP key or let you request it. In other cases, you have to contact the registrars and ask nicely for it. Once they do that, and you get the EPP key (which means that your domain has been 'unlocked'), head over to the new registrars, sign up and perform the transfer. To perform the transfer you'll obviously need to enter the domain name and the EPP key.

Then the process will begin and in about 2 or 3 days you should receive an email with a link in it... click on it, enter details if you have to, then wait a bit more. And the email will go to the administrative contact of the domain so you'll need to make sure that it's your real email address.

Finally, your new registrar should have your domain!
