    Hi Xancholy;

    Check this website: http://www.sqlmaestro.com

    They have two products you might be interested in

    Firebird Maestro which is an admin tool and
    Firebird Data Wizard which will let you create a firebird database from your existing Access database. You will also be able to pull your data in as well.

    Both products cost money but they do have a 30 day trial, so depending on how much work needs doing the trial version may be all you need.

    Regards
    Lin

    Many thanks LinXG. I will give it a try.

    Can you suggest what is the best GUI admin tool to use to design Firebird databases ?

    Also do you have any info on securing firebird databases ?

    The admin tool I use is called IBExpert

    The only others I know of are

    Firebird Maestro which I mentioned previously and FlameRobin

    You can Google search to find them.

    As I have mentioned before I am not a security expert. If you provide a lot more detail on what you're trying to accomplish I could tell you how I would approach it, again keeping in mind that security is not my area.

    Thanks. I would like to embed Firebird and secure it to prevent users from messing up the database structure.
