same as what i got. If u look at the page in ie then look again in opera youll see the colours of the links at the top are messed. And ull probably find you cant search 4 anything in opera either.

I think the microsoft site uses stuff that only IE supports, rendering anything else useless. As Opera follows the rules precisely, any funky tricks they use would make it mess up.

Yeah but it is very pointless MS or any1 else doing that. MS are only doing it coz there browser is mostly used and they want it to stay that way. But the thing is, with macromedia flash, html, java applets etc, you can follow all the standards to the letter and still be very flash.

but can you blame Microsoft?... 84.4% of the net surfers use IE
and i feel that netscape is going to loose its 2nd place too.. atleast they should have supported CSS.. but i really like Opera.. so small.. so good!

that still leaves more than 1 in 10. Thats hundreds of thousands of people that are excluded from going to their website. So yes, i can and i do blame MS.

Gee just use IE and you wont have this problem. So MS should re-engineer their web site for every new browser that comes on the market. Give me a break!

There's a difference between de facto and de jure standards...they're both standards though

(Just thought I'd point that out!)

I think Opera tells the web server it's IE by default. I think if you change that setting, you should have less troubles.

I uninstalled Opera from my computer because it stopped working, so I can't tell you where the setting is or how much it fixes.
