I had a dream that I was a C64.net programmer.
I figured I would share that with everyone that ever owned a Commodore 64. Wouldn't it be really funny if someone recreated the language for .Net.

Re: I had a dream...
Interesting I'm sure it can be done though, since you could potentially create your own language for .NET if you have the time and patience.

I heard at one point there was plans of making a cobol.net, but obviously it never went anywhere

Re: I had a dream...
If they took the time to write a .Net compiler for LOLCode ; I don't see why a C64 implementation would be out of the question.

I just think it would be funny as hell to put on my resume that I am a C64.net Programmer. I could make graphics in a Div using Poke and Peek.

Plenty of languages written for .NET
http://dotnetpowered.com/languages.aspx
Something about COBOL in there too.

Yes, there are something like 3 or 4 Cobols for .Net, it's pretty common actually. There are also many that use custom VMs for portability.
Here are just two examples:

"The language?" You mean the ROM Basic, or the 17 different 3rd party compiler and interpreter languages for the C64?

Dilettante,
Unfortunately, my dream didn't give me any details. Just dreamt that I was programming in .Net but with the Commodore Basic language that I used to use on the old C64 machine.
