Re: Happy birthday half of the forum
It's obviously people who registered 8 years ago decided to not put their full D.O.B. down and keep the default.
But sheesh! I would've thought that many would grind VBF to a halt!

Re: Happy birthday half of the forum
This happens every year on 1/1 unless we remember to shut off the birthday feature for that day.

Re: Happy birthday half of the forum
Is 1/1 the default DOB when creating a new acct, or does this have something to do with the forum crash/recovery several years ago?

When a member signs up, they are not required to enter their birthday. Thus defaulting their birthday to 1/1/2001. This date must be significant in some way.

Default DoB is null; 1/1/01 birthdays are most likely leftover from an SQL import after the crash.

Re: Happy birthday half of the forum
Now that most people use Firefox, this is no longer an issue. I seem to remember that when it wnes browser was falling over on as predominantly IE6, everyones browser was falling over on 1/1
