Sending fax

Does anybody know how to send a fax using vb5/6? I only want to send plain text. One possibility is propably to use MSWord to send it (GetObject/CreateObject), but how it is done? I'd rather send faxes without using Word, if possible!
All ideas are appreciated. I hope someone can help me!!!

Hi there,
I've written a program which runs in DOS mode which sends plain text faxes for my company. All you need to do is shell to a DOS prompt and then type the following :

jvfaxer port Tone/Pulsephonenumber file

eg jvfaxer 1 T123456789 c:\autoexec.bat

my phone email address is [email protected]

limit the message to 130 characters.
