That requires the .NET runtime to be installed. The Citrix Terminal Server doesn't have the framework on there.

Can you manually delete the history folder?
when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.

pretty weak security. our 2003 server would refuse to rename a file to an executable extension.

that's only cos i happen to have developer privs. i can do this only on the development servers. i also have to compile executables, before they are deployed to the rest of the farm.
the deployment is done by the members of the server admin team.

The CCleaner application is just one executable.
But it's possible of course that it needs Admin privileges to clear out the history folder.

The CC cleaner runs a setup process. I installed it locally and then copied the executable over to citrix. It seems to have done the trick of erasing history.

there's another setting in IE they may not have disabled. You can set it into "privacy" mode in which it won't ever record the history in the first place. I believe it's a keyboard shortcut that enters that mode. You can tell when you're in it because it tells you so in the address bar. I accidently did it yesterday.
