msflexgrid and datagrid datasource - getting desperate

why doesnt the datasource property work (using VBA) for the MSFlexgrid or the Datagrid controls?

Works fine in VB.

Any other way to connect these controls to a mdb using VBA?

It is much better practice to connect through code and then load the flexgrid manually, the term is unbound forms. If you start using larger databases such as Sybase/SQL server then this is the only way to do it.

Did you ever figure this out. I am using VBA in Access now(yuck) and need a datagrid, but don't know how to set the datasource??
