Computer issue
Basically the computer starts up fine, no beeps etc...
When it reaches the desktop i can click on icons to highlight but double click does nothing. I can't click on the ballon that pops up for updates, start button or even the menu bar. I don't know what to do. There is a RUNDLL error that occurs but i don't think its relevant to anything of great importance... "mykxyqty.dll" probably just a useless dll for one of my brothers games or something nothing about it on google.
Any ideas anyone?

Re: Computer issue
When you look at your system directory or the directory of any game, you will notice a trend: All the file names have a descriptive name. That's a random file name and it is almost certainly part of a trojan. Spyware/Trojans sometimes randomize their filename in an attempt to prevent easy notice by the casual user. Giving them a .dll extension and launching them with rundll is a slightly stronger sneaky way, and you fell for this one. You need to restart into safe mode and download/run spybot s&d. In my experience, it's the best free one available right now.

Re: Computer issue
On this specific computer F8 leads to a screen which allows me to select which drive to load from whilst the delete key allows me to enter the BIOS settings. Any ideas?

Re: Computer issue
The Runtime error might have something to do with it since the error message appears. What does message that appears say?
