how to setup the client machine

what all are the files that I need to copy in order to set up the client machine that runs applicaition created in VB.net. DO I require to install the .net framework in client machine to avoid any pitfalls.

yeah, all I did was install the .Net framework on the other machine and it worked, i don't if there are other ways but after reading a book on .Net it just suggested to do that and it worked.
