    [2005] How to make a chat program that works with yahoo

    I wanted to write an program which accepts an yahoo id and password and gets and displays the list of my yahoo contacts and their status.

    In other words i want to make my own program that works exactly(well almost) like y! messenger.

    Have you tried to google for information on the Yahoo Messenger protocol? Thats the main thing you need to find.
