the quick edit doesn't ask why
the quick-edit (?) post button that edits the post in-place works great and i love it. HOWEVER if you're on the advanced screen and do this it makes you list a reason for editing. How about some consistency? Maybe a button when the edit is active that we can click similar to the way the "insert picture" button works that would ask us to enter the reason for the edit? Just an idea. I just noticed this today when i was going to edit a post for clarity.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. I've been thinking about this aswell.

It is the forum software we use that is not consistent. Joe can look into this and see if there is an easy fix. It is obviously a good suggestion to pass along to vBulletin.

When this forum is upgraded the new version will have a "Edit Reason" box shown in hte Quick Edit reply form.
