[2008] Is it possible in VB.Net to create voice chat app. like in Messenger or skype?

    Hi,

I'm interested in creating an application that works like teamspeak (http://www.goteamspeak.com/) or the voice chat function in windows live messenger (not the function that records the clip before hand, then plays it, but when you can have a live convo through speech).

So something like skype but without the ability to call to landline or fones.

I pretty much need a line of code that allows me to play live audio from a mic to someone else over the internet or WAN.

Do you guys know of any links or tutorials to get me started?

    thx
