To anyone living in the states that's 18 or older: if you haven't voted, GO DO IT!

I voted for the first time this morning. Very painless, and it felt really good. It gave me the feeling of doing my part to better society. I won't tell anyone how they should vote, just get up and do it. There are too many schemes out there trying to steal votes, and the only way to beat them is to ignore them and go vote the right way. Voting is a RIGHT; don't let them steal yours!

Well it is more that electing a president, there are also a ton of propositions that need to be voted on.

The best thing about the election is that all the damn signs and commercials are going to be gone!

I won't be voting until there is someone I can vote for instead of someone I can just vote against. That may mean I may never vote, but its all good with me.

As of this posting, Obama is up 200 to 90. It's lining up with all the predictions made, and if this keeps up, Obama won't just hit 270, he'll make it to around 370.

I agree - it is good to see a positive change in direction from the USA.

As little as 3 years ago I would not have believed it possible that today we'd have an African-American president. The fact that he's socially responsible, bright, eloquent and inspirational makes this a great day for America and as what we do has a significant effect on the rest of the world it's a great day for everyone.

I agree, I was talking to a VBF member about this subject, and they stated that it was appealing to his character that he is a real human (in the sense of his feelings, beliefs etc), a statement of which I agree with... unlike Bush, who has an IQ that is not divisible by 1.
