[Not too much serious politics please] Barack Obama does it again

The speech he gave at the Al Smith Memorial Foundation Charity Dinner is full of Epic Win.

Like the title says, please don't go too much into politics. This was just supposed to highlight Obama's sense of humour... or rather his speech writers' sense of humour.

His delivery was also damn near perfect, which only went to make it funnier. I couldn't stop laughing through the whole thing.

    Yep.

This thread is much like Obama's campaign, all hype and no substance.

interesting. But (although i am for him) McCain has recently given a new Stump Speech. Daily show compared it to his first original speech. It was nearly word for word. Really odd. As for Obama, I would love to see him talk about something that has substance to it. It's all "change change change" well duh either candidate is going to be a change. neither of them are retards.

Observe. I have redeveloped a joke I created just a few days ago.

Two guys are travelling in a train, by the window seats.

The first guy says "I just saw a dead cow."
The second guy says, "Oh, dot plus!"

After a few minutes, the first guy says "I just saw a farmer cutting his own arm off with a scythe."
The second guy replies, "Wow, dot plus!"

Another few minutes later, the first guy says "There's a woman being burned at the stake out over by that farm."
The second guy looks at the scene and says "Oh my god, dot plus!"

The first guy gets irritated and asks, "Why do you keep saying dot plus?"
The second guy replies, "Oh, that's my regular expression."
    I should be president.

I'm glad the majority of these comments have been about finding the YouTube video instead of over-zealous political members having their say at Obama.

    Oh my, yes...

OK! I'll never say that again!

You mean besides the fact that EVERY 2008 Nobel laureate backs Obama's economic plan?

They don't support his economic plan. They support his science policy. Not even sure how you managed to confuse the two since an extensive google search didn't even hint otherwise.
In a letter of endorsement, the Nobel laureates wrote that visionary science and technology policy would be essential to maintain US competitiveness. They ranged from Sheldon L. Glashow, the Harvard physicist who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1979, to Craig C. Mello, the University of Massachusetts Medical School at Worcester biologist who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2006.
edit: Also, it states in the article that it's merely a large percentage of them, not all of them.

The trick is not to read any information at all. That way you can be sure of being right.
