What do you mean by to slow? To slow when refreshing your graphics?

I probably should be using the normal windows functions for graphics huh? Do you know of any Direct X tutorials, non-MFC?

You prob want to use BitBlt if you are just putting graphics on a form. I made a basic tutorial for BitBlt:
http://www.technocracy.f2s.com/Basic%20BitBlt.html
If you want to know more, just ask, this just covers the basics.
If you want DirectX check out:

IF you want to get in-depth with DirectX, I suggest you look into purchasing Teach Yourself DirectX In 21 Days.
