What about simply placing the word AJAX in the thread title of a problem posted in the existing ASP.NET section?

Usually we would need to see a decent demand for the technology to create a separate forum. Plus it has to make logical sense from a technical standpoint as welll as fit in with the layout of other forums.
How much interest/traffic do we have on this?

It wouldn't make sense to create a separate forum. ASP.Net AJAX Toolkit is just a collection of controls for ASP.Net.
Putting it into its own forum would be like creating a separate forum for BOOST or ComponentArt when they should go into C++ or VB/C#.
