Cool where did you hear this from ??
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

I used to use a forum at www.romulus2.com that has hardware, OS, general application stuff, etc., but I stopped using it cos the layout and colours there make me feel ill, and you have to wait ages for a response. I remember someone mentioning another forum which looked quite nice once, but I forgot the URL.

Thanks, but that doesn't look much like what I'm after. I found some others, like www.sysopt.com and www.digitalcrowd.com but they don't look too great. That Ultimate Belletin Board thing looks like crap vBulletin is much better, but the only ones I've found that use that (except this one) don't work. Oh well, I'll just keep looking.

There are some prety useful forums at www.sharkyextreme.com , maybe www.tomshardware.com and www.anandtech.com have forums too, I don't know, but they're also good techie sites.
