Xbox Live
So, any of you guys still on Xbox live nowadays? I just got my router back and am finally able to get online with the xbox again, and I feel for some online get-togethers!

Re: Xbox Live
As soon as Fallout 3 comes out I'll be offline for about 6 months. All the other games are completely swamped by ... goons ... for want of a better term. GTA4 is entirely populated by the cerebrally defective. Ditto Halo, Forza (has been for 12 months).
XBox live is dead. The MS Points don't really buy you anything worth having, and the downloadable content is generally an insult to the fans who have spent their hard-earned folding on the games in the first place.
Having said all that, if anyone wants a game then lets arrange a proper session and whoever loses gets banned for 3 days
I don't live here any more.

Re: Xbox Live
I bought a game on impulse last night.."Baja", a desert racing game. I have only played a little so far, it seems to have its charm, doesnt seem like a great single player game but ive tricked my brother into buying it and I'll see how it is online.
I also bought Duke Nukem 3D last night, its pretty fun playing online, though a bit hard to aim.
A question for me though...how come I can see so little games? I search for available games but there are rarely any available. I find it highly unbelieveable that, after a new Xbox game has been released, there are no one hosting any online games.
What about trying to do this GTA4 gettogether that never really happened last time? It could be quite fun.

Re: Xbox Live
Game servers are dropping in availability for some reason. I bought C&C3KW the other day, completed the 1-up campaign last night and I can't get a connection to the EA servers. I guess nobody is playing it. Nobody plays forza any more either despite the fact that there are still regular downloads for it. Perhaps there are too many games! The players are spread too thin between games to make hosting a game server viable.
Who knows? Typical of MS though.

I'm in.
I'd also recommend other games, but none seem interesting enough to mention.

Re: Xbox Live
Just three games I can't seem to find anyone to play with:
Halo 3
Orange Box (Team Fortress)
Some heart-pumping NFS Carbon
Whadda 'ya say?
