How does you view teh lolcatz from commandline? Does the VBF render properly in teh textmode? Is hugely annoying to copy teh weblink to vim, then to Netscape in order to view in Unix, no?

Then don't use it. I never see any specifications that say "to be a programmer, you must use X text editor." It's all a matter of personal opinion. Find something you enjoy using and stick to it. Everyone will have their opinions on text editors, regardless of it being good or bad, but at the end of the day, it's just a damn text editor.
