    All bow to Great Worthing...

Worthing has been named the most profitible town in Britain for the 3rd year running. Wowsers. Also, it has the highest number of lottery winners in the country, so if you want to win the jackpot, move here!!

What is the lottery up to? The California state lottery is 12 million this week.....I blew 20 dollars on tickets like an idiot...I probably have a better chance of aliens landing in my backyard but what the heck!

I went there weekend before last. Walking along the sea front in the bitter wind was like being Scott of the Antartic ("my God this is a terrible place"). The miserable cafe on the pier took about two hours to serve a sandwich with curling edges, full of grease.
Bill Gates was not in his dumpster. The Internet cafe was closed.

The lottery is about £10 million (that's about $14 mill to you) twice a weak (it's done on Wed and Sat). Usually sat is a bit more. Sometimes they have rollovers where nobody won the last time so it effectively doubles next time.

I'm not aquainted with that miserable cafe on the peir, but I do know that Internet cafe. It was closed last time I went down there (montague street). Bill must have been in Iceland opposite the pier. It is suprisingly warm compared to the dumpster.

Indeed it could. That's the national lottery's motto - "It could be you". I blew the grand total of £2 on wed and sat (same nos). Finger's crossed!!! and for your $20 investment too!

What are the odds? 14 million to 1 isn't it? You actually do have more chance of aliens landing i reckon.

I think its Warwick street next to Kall Kwik and two doors along from a blue plaque saying that Shelly froze his ass off here

Yes we have...expect the "Tool Shop" to have some really wild products any day now

Our state lottery is Mon, Weds and the major prize rolls over each week, hasn't been won in a while so is approx $5 million, hmmm...about $15 USD.
