Non-specific language section?
Can't we have a section wherein we could post a certain question though it can be directed to any programming language? Perhaps we could state that it can be VB6.0 or .Net?
Double posting is disallowed but sometimes I find the necessity for it since whatever would be the solution on either languages I may be able to convert it to the other one. And VB6.0 programmers may not visit the .Net sections and vice versa so if we only post in one section then the chances of getting a reply is somewhat limited.

Re: Non-specific language section?
Some VB6.0 or .Net just frequents their languages section and rarely or never bothers to visit the General Developer Section, I deem it that the General Developer Section is not for programming-specific questions but for some other queries, am I right or wrong?

Re: Non-specific language section?
The general developer forum is for any question aimed at developers that is not already covered in any of the other forums. This would include any technical questions that don't fit elsewhere. The only thing precluded is chit-chat - which goes in the chit chat forum
So languages not covered elsewhere could be covered there.

Re: Non-specific language section?
Hmmmnnn.... That could probably the best solution for now but my fear is that VB6.0 programmerys may just frequent the VB6.0 section and not bother with the General Developer Section, likewise with VB.Net programmers who stays only in the VB.Net section. It would be great (on my part) if I could just state somewhere in the Subject what languages I wish the solution to my problem be like [C#][VB.Net][VB6.0]Detect Keylogger, something like that.
