[2008] Controlling IIS
Good Morning folks,
Does anyone know how easy it is to make a program to control and edit IIS settings and features?
I am designing a ASP.NET Control Panel for sites hosted with me and I want customers to be able to edit certain settings on their own website however the reason I am making this a VB.NET program is:
1: As far as I know there are more features and power in VB.Net than ASP.NET
2: I also want a program which I can just give it website domain and say this package and it goes off and does all the work for creating a new website.
This way I can just build one package to edit all the settings in IIS then the ASP.NET control panel and just pass instructions to the VB.NET program to do all the work behind the scenes.
If anyone knows of a good place with examples or has some good examples I can look over and try and figure things out I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Max

Re: [2008] Controlling IIS
Don't worry for now I have finally managed to find some examples including one on here so will have a look through these and try and work it out. Here are the examples I have found for anyone else that wants a go:
VB Forums Example by Woka
gafvert.info Example
MS WMI Properties for IIS
If anyone knows any other good examples then please let me know.
Regards,
Max
