    Cant open my database diagram

    Hey,

    I just had to reinstall my computer and I have had to reset al permissions on the database Im working on. Its SQL SERVER 2005 Express Edition.

    Im getting this error. Can someone please help me resolve it.?

    seems pretty claer to me... it even gave you the steps to resolve it. Sounds like there's a db owner issue here.

    okay, solved that one but I still cant open the DB from Visual Studio.

    Is the database on your machine, or on an actual server? Have a DBA or someone who knows how to manage SQL Server? You need to turn on a settign to allow remote connections.... Umm.... I think if you look through the DB FAQ here, there's an article, or at least a link to one, on how to do that.

    I found this site which looks like it can solve my problem:

    However when I set the TCP/IP in the last step it stops me from finalizing and I get this error. Anyone has an idea how to proceed please?
