[RESOLVED] Moving things around on the crystal reports layout designer
Uhg, I have been trying to figure out how to move things around by a single pixel at a time instead of having it move things in some predefined grid pattern, like if I try to move a text object up just a little it jumps it up to far,
doesn't matter if I click with the mouse or I try to move with the arrow keys... When creating a form the arrow keys move things pixel by pixel for me and it is great for making nice tight layouts - the crystal designer is a little more frustrating so far.
Any one know just how to do this?
Thanks

Re: Moving things around on the crystal reports layout designer
Right click anywhere on the background of the design surface (ie not on a Report Object) and turn off "Snap To Grid".
On the Options Screen (File->Options menu), set the "Grid Options" found on the Layout Tab.

Ah - my bad, I should have given more information. I am using Visual Studio 2005 and I can't seem to find that option.
Thanks

I don't have your version but for me I can get to the Options screen by using the popup menu (Designer -> Default Settings) when I right click on the designer's surface.
