I know this is asked all the time but it never gets a serious answer.

I am fairly new to the game they call 'VB' and I am bored (actually in between projects that bore me) anywho, I wanted some ideas for a new project that will challenge me but are fairly possible with my minimal skills.

Here's some suggestions:

1. A prog to calculate the length of material you need to make your own curtains in any given sized house/caravan.

2. A web browser that will rival IE and Netscape.

3. An IRC program that will bring up message boxes at random intervals insulting the user.

I like the last idea!

zMerlinz came up with one like that a while ago; when the user presses the ALT GR key (which apparently does nothing useful in Windows), have an app open MsgBoxes insulting the user.
