VS 2008: Data will not display in CR viewer

I'm new to CR...and I'm already learning love it.

I have been able to successfully connect to a dataset in a report that I have created. I can also set that report as the source report on a report viewer. However, when I open the report viewer, nothing shows up in the report window. Refreshing won't work.

I'm aware that this question has come up a number of times in these forums, but I can't seem to make any of the vague solutions solve my particular problem. I may figure it out on my own eventualy, but I'm looking for a ndge in the right direction here...or a total solution, but I'm not holding my breath!

Solving this problem will finally move me into the area of interesting programming using reports, so I'm eager to get past it.
