How does reputation work on these forums?

Only a few people rate me yet i have at this current time 31 Rep Points.
How much points do i get per person?
What does it depend on?

I have read the Reps & Rating Posts link in your signature. So it works by rep power. Now i know how i got 30 Repuation. A user with thousands of posts, and a high reputation rated me.

Every member starts out with 5 rep points. So if you only have 1 rep entry then that person had a power of 25. But I think you should check your UserControl Panel as at the bottom of it it will show the Reps in a table that you have recently recieved. Up to a total of the last 25 will show.

You have a few ratings from different people. You should be able to see these in your User Control Panel.

Yes i saw. Though i dont have so much people who rated me i still have a few of those peolpe with high rep power.

Well you can figure it out by checking the formula for rep power for each member that rep'd you at the time of rep'ping. You and add them up and you should total your total as a means to validating your individual calculations.
