New to Java. And Have no Idea....
Hello,
I've just, not even a day ago, decided I want to learn Java. However I don't really have the money to go buy a book on it. So I searched the internet. That also didn't help much and I may just be even more confused about Java. So I really don't know which direction to go, where I am going, and how I'm going there. I just want to learn Java.
Please help me.....
A Desperate Fly.

Depends on where you want to specialize... if your going for web based implementations try downloading relevant developer tool, e.g. JDeveloper.

How about e-books. I would really recommend it.. Try beginner friendly books. One of them is HeadFirst Java by O'Reilly. Very user friendly and you learn really fast.
I tried to learn from online tutorials but found most of them to be useless. Im still searching for a JDBC tutorial O.o
