[RESOLVED] Can I install .NET 3.5 framework on Windows NT 2000?

Hello guys, have a pleasant day to everyone..I have a problem regarding to on installing a .net framework 3.5 on Windows NT 2000 OS. I encountered an error saying "The procedure entry point HeapSetInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.". Is there any way to run .net 3.5 framework to on Windows NT 2000 so that i can run my program compiled on .net 3.5? How? Thanks in advance and God Bless everyone.

It says this:

System Requirements

* Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003; Windows Server 2008; Windows Vista; Windows XP

Windows 2000 is not supported

ahhh..ok....i tought it can be because there are some needs only a third party software or shall we say add-ons in order to run that application to that OS...Thanks JuggaloBrotha for your reply...Have a nice day..

Interesting, so you can't install the 3.5 .Net Framework on Windows 2000 Server?

That may be the draw that breaks my Windows 2000 Server's back .

My Web Server runs Windows 2000 Server. Looks like I will have to upgrade.

The latest .NET Framework you can install on 2000 SP4 is 2.0
