Yes I do, I've completed my bachelor's in computer engineering around 10 months ago.

Computer Science is a little more general and has broader application, but AI has really taken off, especially in the fields of robotics and transportation. Companies are finding more and more areas where they want their software to either react to complex input or predict the users needs based on the situation.

Both are good fields and mostly depend on what you want to get into.

I'd be leaning towards AI, but only because that interests me more. What little experience I have with people having those degrees is that they are interchangeable as to what career options are open for you, so it really comes down to whether one particular career choice has a slightly greater appeal than the other.

One warning though, if you go the AI route, be prepared to learn the programming language LISP, which doesn't have the easiest syntax to learn (It's been nicknamed: "Lots of Independent Single Parentheses" for good reason. The reason LISP has been traditionally used in AI classes is because of it's native use of structures such as Lambdas and Closures.

.NET just recently got the ability to use Lambda and Closures, but they were in LISP long before that.

Lisp will expand your mind. You should learn it anyway.

Actually what I want to be is, developing software in excellent way. I'll explain in this way, correct me if I'm wrong. I've seen that lots of industry application collecting information and introduced them for further functioning. But the way data/information predict is not good, not well organized. I think AI is the step for that. Is that my thoughts are correct?

Thanks for the information pal. Actually I like to learn AI. But the major issue I have in my way is, for AI there is no huge potential in my country. Actually I'm looking to abroad as soon as possible. In that case I felt that AI is the new trend, specially in European countries. Is that right?

Learning a new language. I don't think it's good for me. Anyway, let see.

    Essentials of Artificial Intelligence
    Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence
    Distributed Computing Concepts for AI
    Deductive Reasoning and Logic Programming
    Neuroscience & Neurocomputing
    Evolutionary Computing
    Artificial Cognitive Systems
    Fuzzy Reasoning
    Data Mining and Data Warehousing
    Software Agents and Swarm Intelligence
and followings are the elective subjects I have to take.

    Cryptography and Security Mechanisms
    Semantic Web and Ontological Engineering
    Intelligent Solutions for Industry
    Natural Language Processing
    Embedded Robotics
    Inductive Logic Programming
    Kansei Systems
Any comments on those thing my friend, I really appreciate.

Looks a lot more entertaining than a bog-standard CS degree, if AI's what you want to do.

Those do look like some interesting courses!

Of course, many folks are already masters of "Fuzzy Reasoning"

I'd like to sit in on most of those courses....don't really feel like taking tests anymore, though.
