[RESOLVED] dxgame engine
I've found numerous links and descriptions of this software and it sounds perfect for helping with a project I'm working on at the moment.
Unfortunately all links to the software seem to be broken and the official site doesn't exist either.
Does anyone have a copy of this software that they could email me (it's freeware), or point me in the direction of a link that works.
thanks
Paul

Re: dxgame engine
I have hardly touched DirectX, but I have come across loads and loads of 'engines' for it.
Which one are you after?

Re: dxgame engine
The one I was looking at is just called "DXGame Engine" (version 2.3.4). If you google it you'll find loads of links to it, but they're all broken. They all link to a website http://dxgame.com (no www). That also seems to be no more.
I'm particularly interested in the particle engine that it is supposed to have in it. I think the one at codeproject.com is a different one.
I'm just surprised that there are so many links to it, but there doesn't seem to be any actual trace of it any more.

Couldn't get that one to work either. I think the problem is that all the sites are just using a link to:
http://dxgame.com/download/dxgsdk.zip
which doesn't exist anymore. I think the only way of getting it, is if someone has uploaded it somewhere else.

Re: dxgame engine
Had a look at it. Looks incredible for somethings that free! Definitely different to the one I was looking at, but has some really powerful features like scripting that I can use.
