i wanna design a system that has a database thats updated in real time from different stations in a wide geographical area. the info that i want the database to store is a name, some form of identity number and then to scan a thumb print. if the same thumbprint is scanned twice it notifies user....please help its for acollege project and im really stuck....help help help please. please reply with code

I'm surprised that they've given you this project without having taught you something first. You'd think they'd teach some things first so that you could at least make a start for yourself. Then you'd only have to use forums when you needed to ask specific questions, rather than asking us to just do your homework for you.
