    Red face Windows XP Service Pack 3

    Did anyone install it yet?

    My computer is about to.

    Downloading Windows XP Service Pack 3 (KB936929)...

    yes I installed it on all XP machines we have when it went RTM.

    I have not had any compatibility problems with SP3. It actually has made a few applications faster, like office.

    I am not sure how distribution went as far as MS pushing it out via Windows Update, but it has been available for direct download since April 21st.

    It may have been filtered epending upon your systems config or installed drivers. Similar to the way they filtered Vista SP-1 via Windows Update.
