security issue
Hello I am calling all ASP.net security gurus I have a forum that I reside it on one of our server box. We are going to release the product "go live" soon, and have to open firewall or the port to external users so that they can go to the forum. My question is, how secured is that? And what options are there to make sure about the security?
thanks

Re: security issue
Depends on your code, really. What authentication you're using, what you're storing in cookies, whether you've parametrized your queries, and so on. We can't tell just by a generic description.

If you can afford, buy one of the various tools that test your site for possible vulnerabilities.
