SP3 Changed CTRL-ALT-DEL
I installed SP3 and i cant figure out how to do away with that annoying menu that pops up, asking you if you want task manager, or other options. How can i put this back so it just brings up task manager?

Re: SP3 Changed CTRL-ALT-DEL
What menu are you referring to? I have SP3 installed and don't get a menu asking me if I want task manager, etc when I press Ctrl + Alt + Del.

Re: SP3 Changed CTRL-ALT-DEL
Its the Windows Security dialog window. It may depend upon the way you have XP set to log on by using Ctrl+Alt+Del or the windows welcome screen. Not 100% sure but ...

Re: SP3 Changed CTRL-ALT-DEL
Check in your control panel under the Users applete. You can change the way users logon by requiring Ctrl+Alt+del and see if by chainging it if it will bring back the default behavior as I'm assuming that your logon method has changed?

Re: SP3 Changed CTRL-ALT-DEL
I just tested it. This is a change to make xp more like vista. Turning on the welcome screen fixes it. I kind of liked the 2k one better that had all the buttons on the task manager screen instead of a different window.

Ctrl+Alt+End is the equivalent of Ctrl+Alt+Del within an RDC window.
