    Resolved [RESOLVED] database error

    Hi,

    someone suggested i upload the SQL 20005 database to app_data, i did it but stilll not working, i'm on godaddy.

When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.     Looks like you have User Instance = true, which needs to be false in a hosting environment.

    Also your "transmiamiConnectionString" is still looking by hostname, I don't know if this is your old connectionstring or not but that wouldn't work in a hosting environment either, if this is in fact your old hostname/instance, make sure you updated all your datasources to reflect your new connectionstring, which looks to be "ConnectionString", right?

    You also may need to troubleshoot with GoDaddy to make sure all requirements on both ends are met. I've never hosted sql with them like this before, so I may be the wrong person to listen to

    I made this change User Instance = true but the problem is still there. That's the server at my pc.
