A simple Question... I guess...
Can I know when the user is Turning off the computer?? I mean :
Start, Shut down windows
Can I detect that??

If you bung some code in there, will it then stop Windows shutting doen until it's complete or will Windows streamroller right over it?

I don't think you can prevent the shutdown, this does, however, give you a chance to close up shop and put things away before you go down.

If you've no idea what the hell you're on about maybe you should just button it and get back to planting potatoes!!!

You'd have about a billisecond to close everything down before windows annihilates the running code. If you're in the middle of saving a large file for example and it turns the machine off, there's going to be all sorts of fun and games.
