Remove .NET Framework 2.0 from Windows Server 2008
Does anyone know how to?
I require an application which will not install correctly if more than Framework 1.1 is installed. Once it is installed then Framework 2.0 should be restored.

Found that too. Doesn't apply to Server 2008.
I managed to get rid of 3.0, but can't seem to remove 2.0.

Is there any reason why it errors when you install this application. Ive always assumed each version works independently of each other. Who owns the server, what sort of access do you have to it?

Complete access.
Framework versions are independent. But the installer is arse-backwards and doesn't detect the framework versions correctly.

Is there anything from the installers website about the issue? Can you pull out the files and create your own installer with VS so it properly installs?
