Re: MS Word Issue
What version of Word are you using? Looks like either 2002 or 2003.
Are you using Word as your Outlook email composer/editer?
Are you opening these "work" docs that are originally created/updated in one version of Word and then you open them at home in another version? It could be something like a Grammer error if spaces or line breaks are not being read correctly between versions perhaps. Or maybe Contextual Spelling checking from Word 2007.

No.

Re: MS Word Issue
Most machines are running Office 2002 but there are a couple running Office 2007 so that could be the key. I'll check it out tomorrow

Re: MS Word Issue
Sounds like a big possibility as 2007 has the blue squiggly underlining for Contextual Spelling I believe as the green is still grammer and red spelling mistake.
Save a separate test version of the document with the contextual spelling check turned off before the save. (Office Button > Proofing > Use Contextual Spelling)

Re: MS Word Issue
I took a 2007 document with your verbiage typed in it and saved as a 97-2003 file format, copied it over to my other system running Word 2003 and opened it and it opened fine
Maybe its an issue with 2002 Word only or maybe you are needing an Office Update or SP. Worth a try.
