Sorry it just said who the contenders of the competition are and that Parksie is in the lead
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

Monday Morning Lunatic
Not a scandal...at least not of John-proportions
And I knew before because Karl mentioned it while I was discussing the Micro Mart thing with him.
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

here are the best bits
Welcome to the VB-World newsletter!
This week, I've played slave to the ol' keyboard, typing and
refining the very first instalment of our new VB.NET
training series exclusively here on VB-World.
Our mission? To train *you* up on the new technologies
before anyone else, to get you up to speed, leading the
field, ahead of the crowd.
And so we start that six-part journey this week, with VB.NET
Uncovered - Getting Started. I hope you'll join me.
Whilst I'm talking all things VB.NET, my friend Dan Appleman
has just dropped me a line. His new controversial e-book has
just hit the digital shelves.
In "VB.NET or C# - Which To Choose?" he asks whether VB
programmers should ditch their favourite language for the
new C#.
Certainly one to watch out for. Grab your own copy by
heading down to: http://www.desaware.com/Ebook2L2.htm
Elsewhere and it's been a busy week in the forums -
particularly for those running to be King of Geeks! Who will
it be? Parksie is in the lead - but it could all change.
Scroll down to the Q/A Forums section and cast your vote.
Well, that's all for this week, gang - catch y'all next
time!
Until then! --- Karlos
