Windows Movie Maker and Screen Resolution
I managed to get my new box to hang today. I was trying to copy some video from a mini-DV tape to the computer. The screen resolution was 800x600 and I tried to change it to 1024x768, while the video was being copied by the Windows Movie Maker. Immediately after the resolution changed, WMM halted the tape playback and hung. (Preview while capture was ON). I finally had to End Task it. Has anyone encountered this before?

Re: Windows Movie Maker and Screen Resolution
It's not that hard to get movie maker to hang. However there are a couple of instances where it's hung on me for ten minutes and finally came out of it.

Found out changing the screen resolution while recording a video screws up the WMM. Never do that.
