    MS VB Team forum availability??

Within the forum "Slow Chat with the Microsoft Visual Basic team" I can see an advert thread, and a sticky "before you post"... and that's it.

Am I the only one to get this, have you intentiaonally removed access to all the discussed topics there, what gives??

Check the "display options" under the folder list, and make sure that "From The" is set to "Beginning".

That is the default value for that forum, but can be overridden by changing options in your UserCP.

Perhaps one of the Admins can set the forum "Default View Age" option to "Show all threads" so members/guests wont have to manually change it. Seems we would want to display all threads always to all people.

That already is the default, but the options you can set in your UserCP will override it.

If they use their member setting "Default Thread Age Cut Off" as "Use Forum Default" then it will be whatever that forum is set up for in the admin control panel. I double checked mine and set it to default and all threads show for that forum So its already set but I think the member setting is defaulted to 2 weeks instead of use default. I dont have access to the ACP so I cant verify what the sites default setting is for a new member.

Ahh so it's UserCP is it, that's handy to know! I haven't really played too much in there and it's handy to learn about changing this setting - I've wondered about that before. Thanks

I did a quick confirmation. VB slow chat forum is set to "beginning" by default. It is also set to use the forum styles and not the users.
