[2008] Vista Features in VB2005/08

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew if Microsoft is planning on releasing components native to windows vista. It seems these sort of components are available to be created in C++ but not in visual basic. I'm not talking about application specific components such as offices ribbon bars.

I'm thinking of the likes of collapsible tree views vista wizards etc. I've seen that some companies are selling these components but i cant understand why Microsoft hasn't offered vb users a way of coding them .

Anyone heard anything on this?

Most Vista Aero stuff is accessible using WPF. For things like Explorers treeview no you wont find it as a native control.
