Looking for Telnet Client in VB 2005

I am retired engineer working as a volunteer writing an application for a non-profit organization. I need to find VB 2005 Telnet client code. I dont want to write the code because I have plenty to do at present. Has anyone possibly converted the client in the post in VB 6 titled [VB6] Telnet Client UserControl to VB 2005. As work is for a non-profit, I dont have the $$$ to buy a package.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

That would be great. I see quite a few people looking for the same thing in my searches of various forms. I support an all volunteer run ISP in eastern North Carolina. The ISP was started (http://www.e-nc.org/pdf/Pine_Pamlico.pdf) with a grant 6 years ago to bring wideband internet to an area that had few jobs. Mostly fishing which was declining.

Thank you again for your help.

If you are looking for some really basic stuff Dimac has a free product called

    w3Sockets

I have used it to do box configuration i.e. telnet to a router

I will give it a look. If my memory is correct, you have written a server/client that I started to try to convert but I dont know enough about the detailed handshaking.
