    Thumbs up Network Options

I've been developing and managing a program for a few years now and recently I've been expanding it and making it better.

I was wondering, because it is an Online based program, what Network Options should I have in it?

Things like port number or something?

    Just a thought...

    Thanks

Not too sure what you mean by "Network Options". Is this a Web based application or a Client / Server. There are not too many user selectable 'Options' normally associated with the Network. Things like Port Numbers are usually 'built in' and unique within the network to avoid the possibility of duplication and failure.

Perhaps you could expand on your thoughts a little bit.

Agreed....also listing what it does and currently has would help.

Sorry, try not to think about it to seriously. What I mean is, if you were going to make a client web based program, what type of network features would you give it?

I mean, should i include stuff like proxy and stuff, so people at work can use it?
    just drop some ideas, eh?

Why not look at previous examples? The following all have a relatively small, common series of settings which you can think about:
    1. SQL Server
    2. Internet Explorer
    3. P2P or torrent download clients (so I'm told)...
