Cannot delete page on CR
I hve an OLE object (word doc) on page 3. Page 1 and 2 have only PAge header, details and page footer. The details take 2 pages but has a lot of space at the end.
Now i have a Report footer that is 99% sure that can fit on the 2nd detail page. The problem is that when i cut-paste it, it fits but leave a page 3 blank but visible!! From this point even if i move the vertical lines up or down or even if i delete everything from the details, the pages will start at number 3!!
Why?
Thanks.

Re: Cannot delete page on CR
You mention a Word Document but mention Crystal Reports in the thread title, so are we talking about a problem with a .doc file or a problem with a .rpt file?

Re: Cannot delete page on CR
Am talking about an imported OLE object (word document at this case). An ole object that you import on the crystal report.

Re: Cannot delete page on CR
The closest i could find was make a new CR and start adding the ole objects one by one, making sure that a new page won't be created, cuz then i cannot delete it.

Re: Cannot delete page on CR
In the Crystal Designer, in preview mode, the program will show you which sections are causing the blank area if you look at the section labels at the left. Right-click the section label and click Fit Section to remove any blank space at the end of the section after all objects are done printing.
Hope this helps

Re: Cannot delete page on CR
The 3rd ole object was on the footer, shown on the 3rd page. I cut it and paste it on the 2nd page details section. Then i go to the empty footer on the 3rd page and i select fit section. It shrinks the footer but the 3rd page is still there and blank.Clicking fit section on all the arias on the second and third page does not delete the blank 3rd page. How lovely
